of a Financial Services Web Portal for a leading American Financial
Institution: |
| Megatron
successfully developed a Portal prototype in collaboration with a
UK Based Project Managing Consultancy using state-of-the-art XML tools.
The entire development was carried out by our Bombay-based team working
remotely on a Web server based in the US which was continuously monitored
by the US Client and the UK Based Project Managing Consultancy. |

| Porting
Database & Functionality for a UK Based National level Educational
Institution: |
| The
project comprised the porting , testing , installation and acceptance
testing of the porting of the membership database of a UK Based national
educational institution from MS-Access 2.0 to MS-SQL Server. Core
functionality was changed to convert the system from Qualification
based to Candidate based. The new system for coordinating NVQ courses
enabled candidates to decide what units they should take up to complete
a course and to indicate which NVQ certificate can be granted to a
candidate based on his current status. The entire project was completed
at our offshore facility in Bombay. |

| Multi-currency
Net Asset Value System for a Fund Manager in Mauritius: |
| Provision
for creating Fund or a Sub-fund under a Fund. There were 2 modules
– Share Accounting and Financial accounting, with provision to create
a consolidated Trial Balance / Balance Sheet for a Fund computed by
adding all the closing balances of various accounts of all the sub-funds
and the main fund. Financial accounting system followed Double Entry
Method. Among the basic types of FA transactions covered were Bank
Transactions & Journal Voucher, both with multi-currency facility.
The system also provided Bank Reconciliation, Year End Processing,
Share Accounting, provision to enter Market Transactions in the Source
Currency, inventory monitoring, Dividend calculations, Corporate actions,
& reprocessing of batch transactions. The system was developed using
MS Visual Foxpro. |

| Back-office
System for UK Based Funds Manager: |
| The
principle objective of the system was to manage multi-company, multi-currency,
multi-user environment. The Application was supported by SQL Server
and MS Access database. SQL Server database connected the system with
the help of ODBC. To control the system, various levels of restrictions
within the system were provided. The System also restricted the number
of users, modules purchased and number of licenses purchased which
can be defined by the supplier in the configuration file or table
at the installation time. System was designed for multi-user access,
restricted to valid users with encrypted password protection. The
System was capable of allowing the supervisor to restrict fully or
partially users to certain functions within the system. Menu option
was enabled/disabled depending upon the restriction. The system was
fully menu driven with context sensitive help features as per Microsoft
standards. The system was fully developed and tested at our offshore
facility in Bombay. Our UK Client personally participated in the testing
of the system in Bombay. |

Departmental Computerization for an Indian Bank: |
| We have
computerised Stationary Department of Saraswat Bank. The software
takes care of receiving requisitions from various branches, placing
orders to suppliers with proper instructions, keeps track of goods
received, issues to branches, payments to supplier and maintains complete
inventory. The software is developed using Visual FoxPro. |

in India: |
| Our
software for Pharmaceutical Companies takes care of complete administration
of the Quality Control department. This covers entry of sampling details,
computing and storing test results, scheduling of samples, stability
testing, equipment maintenance register and generation of various
reports etc. This software is developed using Visual Foxpro. |

| We have
developed a software product for Technical Analysis. Based on the
daily/intra-day prices, the software plots the graphs. The software
has ability to plot bar & line chart, Japanese candle sticks, Point
& figure chart, Kagi chart & Renko charts. It has more than 100 oscillators
programmed and can plot various types of trend lines. It also has
a powerful query module. This software is developed in Visual C++. |
